Question

Some amount of money was kept aside as zakat. if that money gets stolen do we have to repay our zakat?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The Zakat must be repaid.[1]

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
