Question

Is there a stipulated length for the pants worn in salaat?

Answer

The stipulated length for a man's trousers in and out of Salaat is that it should be above his ankles and below his knees. Wearing a short pants beneath a long Kurta is definitely not advisable because of the possibility of his Satar being exposed.
