Question

How many khatams of Quraan should a Hafiz complete in a year?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is Mustahab (preferable) that a Hafiz completes the recitation of the Qurān every forty days which equates to nine completions a year.[i]

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.
