If we stop mani from ejaculating during wet dream then we have to perform ghusal or not
Answer
In principle, if a person experienced a wet dream but prevented the sperm from coming out of the private parts, the Ghusl (bath) will not become necessary. (Shaami vol.1 pg.160; HM Saeed)

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.

What should I do after a wet dream?
“A wet dream is an erotic dream that causes involuntary ejaculation of semen. A dream where one is seen masturbating is not necessarily a wet dream, even though one finds some degree of excitement on awakening.”
