Men Wearing A Jacket Made With A Silk Lining

Question

The jackets padding is made of silk and actual jacket is made permissible material.

Is this permissible for man to wear.

Answer

If by padding, you mean the lining of the jacket is silk which is padded with some stuffing between the silk lining and the exterior material, it will not be permissible to wear such a jacket.

Hazrat Hudhaifah RadiAllahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam forbade us to drink out of gold and silver vessels or eat in it and also forbade the wearing of silk and sitting on it.
