Sajdah Tilaawat After Drinking Water

Question

If a student that is learning Sabak Para/Daur takes a short water break in between his learning, will that constitute multiple sajdahs?

Answer

If the student recites a verse of Sajdah then leaves to drink water and then when he returns recites the same verse then he will have to perform two Sajdah’s, but if he stays on his place and takes one or two sips of water then only one Sajdah will remain Wajib on him.
