What can I recite before leaving home for protection from accidents and incidents?

It is mentioned in the Hadith that a person that recites the undermentioned Dua when leaving home is blessed

with four favours which are listed below;

1. He is guided to the path of truth.

2. His worries will be taken care of.

3. He is protected from all from all forms of evil and harm.

4. Shaytaan distances himself from such a person.

The Dua is as follows:

بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ

In the name of Allah, I place my trust upon Allah, and there is no might (to refrain from evil except in the protection of Allah) and there is no power (to carry out good actions) except with the assistance of Allah Ta’aala.

Another Dua that may be recited every morning and evening for protection of one’s Deen, life, wealth,

family and children is;

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلَى دِيْنِئ وَنَفْسِي وَوَلَدِيْ وَأَهْلِيْ وَمَالِيْ

In the name of Allah upon my Deen, my life, my children, my family and my wealth.
