Question

Is it permissible for a woman in Haidh/Nifaas sit by the Mayyit?

Answer

It is permissible for a woman to sit near the Mayyit; however, she must try to distance herself slightly from the Mayyit.

Moreover, it would be better if she avoids sitting near the Mayyit.
