Zakaat For A Person Who Has Just Become Baaligh (Attained Puberty)

Question

If a person became Baaligh in Zil-Qadah, when must he discharge his Zakaat?

Answer

If a person becomes Baaligh (reached maturity) in such a state where he possesses the Nisab amount, he will be liable to pay his Zakat after one year on the same date on which he became Baaligh.
