Question

What is the ruling of not wearing a Topee?

Answer

To leave wearing the topi is the discarding of Sunnah. The common practice of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, SahabaRadiallahu Anhum, and the pious predecessors was to wear a Topee.

عن ابن عمر، قال: كان رسولُ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يَلْبَسُ فَلَنْسُوَةً بيضاء
