Hafidhah Reciting Qiraat Slightly Louder In Taraaweeh

Question

Can a hafidhah perform tarawih reciting Qira’at slightly louder than normal for concentration (in complete privacy I.e. not in the presence of anyone)?

Answer

A woman should not read loudly in Salaah, whether it is silent Salaah, Fardh Salaah, Tarawih Salaah etc…regardless of whether she is alone or not. She can recite to an extent that she can hear the Qiraat herself. In other words, the recitation should be just audible enough to reach her own ears.
