Halaal pension funds

Question

Are there any Halaal pension fund that is approved by your Fatwa department?

Answer

We are not aware of any voluntary pension schemes that are ‘Halaal’ or ‘Shariah compliant’ even though the funds may be invested in Halaal avenues, hence we advise abstention.
