My father was forced to subscribe to a insurance policy (provident fund) by his employer. He stipulated my mother as the beneficiary of the funds. Is it permissible for her to use the funds when paid out after his demise?

Answer

If these policies were enforced by your father’s employer, then yes, the payout received from these policies may be utilized by your mother who is the stipulated beneficiary of all these (involuntary) policies.
