Question

After the Nikaah has been conducted, if the husband and wife sit alone for 7 minutes in the bridal room of the banquet hall, the door was closed but not locked, will it constitute as proper seclusion (Khalwat-e-Saheeha)?

Answer

Yes, if the room door is closed, both spouses are in seclusion, and there is no obstruction (physical or from the side of Shariah) preventing them from intimacy then their seclusion will be considered as Khalwat-e-Saheehah.
