Seeing a bad dream

Question

I have heard that if one has a bad dream and informs others about it, then it will turn out to be true. Is this correct?

Answer

A good or righteous dream is from Allah and an evil dream is from Shaytaan. Whoever sees an evil dream which he dislikes then he should spit to his left and seek refuge in Allah from Shaytaan and it will not harm him. Also, he should not inform anyone regarding it. If he sees a good dream, then he should rejoice and not inform anyone except those beloved to him.
