Question

Person A advises person B regarding a good location for his business. The business is of a Haraam nature. Person B intends to pay person A for his advice with money from a Halaal business. Is this money Halaal for him?

Answer

If it is known with certainty that majority of the money is from a Halaal source, then it will be Halaal for person B. However, if it is known that the majority of the money is from a Haraam source, then it will not be Halaal for person B.
