Error In Qiraat In Salaah
Question
The Imaam recited Surah Nuh in the Fajr Salaah and read, “الاضلالا” at the end verse instead of “الا تبارا”. Is the Salaah valid, or should it be repeated?
Answer
The Imaam read, “Do not increase the oppressors except in deviation,” instead of reading, “Do not increase the oppressors except in destruction,”. Deviation is a form of destruction, hence, the Salaah will not be nullified.
