Discharging Zakaat to Shias?

Question

Q. Can Zakaat be given to Shia families?

Answer

Zakaat can only be given to Muslims. Shias who believe in the Qur’an being incomplete and slander Aaishah (Radiyallahu Anha) are not Muslims and cannot be given Zakaat.
