Question
I have not paid Zakāt for years. What do I do?
Answer
If one failed to give Zakāt for previous years, one should estimate how many years were missed and how much one’s nets assets were each year and give Zakāt accordingly.
Questions about this ruling, answered only from the archive with sources.
Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
