Question
How should the meat of one’s Qurbani be distributed?
Answer
It is preferable to divide the meat into three parts. One portion for oneself, the other for relatives and friends, and the third for the poor and needy. However, it is permissible to keep all the meat for oneself or distribute it to whomever he wishes.
Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
