Giving 3 talaaqs ignorantly

Question

I said to my wife 3 times ”talak” and now I’m worried is it really talak or not because I didn’t know if you say to your wife talak 3 times, it will take place, but if we don’t know then is it considered a mistake or really talak?

Our response to your query is as follows:

If a person utters three Talaaqs irrespective of knowing the circumstance of it or not, three Talaaqs will take place. You should immediately separate from your wife as the Nikaah has terminated.
