It is permissible to lock the masjid at night for security reasons.

و الإغلاق يشبه المنع فيكره قال فى الهداية وقيل لابأس به إذا خيف على متاع المسجد اه وهو أحسن من التقييد بزماننا كما فى عبارة بعضهم فالمدار خشية الضرر على متاع المسجد فإن ثبت فى زماننا فى جميع الأوقات ثبت كذلك إلّا فى أوقات الصلاة أو لا أو فى بعضها ففى بعضها (البحر الرائق2/33, الشامية 1/656)
