Question

Is celebrating Shab-e-Baraat a Bidah? Some people offer special night prayer (Salaah) and do fateha. What are the Islamic rulings regarding this?

Answer

The hadeeth has taught us to engage ourselves in ibaadat on this night.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
