Question

Someone I know said that he consumes McDonald's which is haram in America. He says his reasoning is that this is the meat of the Ahle Kitaab and hence permissible. While I do not believe that, I do not know how to respond to him. Can Mufti saheb reply as to why this does not fall under that category?
