Sitting and performing Salaah due to pain
Question
I am a diabetic. I feel pain in my legs and knee joints very often. Although I am not very old and I can walk easily, but I find it difficult to move up and down during salaah. My question is that if I offer salaah in the sitting position whenever I feel pain, would it be valid?
Answer
If standing and performing the Salaah becomes difficult due to the pain, it will be permissible for you to sit and perform the Salaah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
