Four rakaats sunnat before zuhr
Question
I just want to ask if after adhan of dhuhr there is four rakats of sunnatul muakadah right? Then the others are dividing it into two salams and on the other hand some are performing it like they are performing a salah, they pray sunnatul muakadah with only 1 salam. I follow Abu Hanifa.
Answer
According to the Hanafi Mazhab the four rakaats Sunnat-e-Muakkadah which is performed before the fardh of zuhr should be performed with salaam at the end.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
Q: My question is, there are four rakaats of sunnah muakadah before fardh of zuhr but my question is how many salam?
A: The four rakaat Sunnat-e-Muakkadah before zuhr will be performed with salaam at the end. It will not be performed in pairs of two making salaam after each two rakaats.
