Is it haraam to wear shorts?

Question

Is it haraam to wear shorts? Ahaadees say a man must cover himself from the navel to above the knees. If it's true, then does it mean that we can wear shorts and offer prayers in it? Waiting for your answer.

Answer

Yes, it is obviously haraam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
