Haraam relationship

Question

I'm in a relationship since the last 3 years. I know it is haram and I want to end it but whenever I try to end it he blackmails me by saying he will tell it to my family and will show my conversation to my parents and siblings. I'm afraid of the disgrace my parents and brother would suffer because of me. I somewhere inside also want to marry him but in a halaal way. Please guide me.

Answer

The greater concern must be that you save yourself from the greater disgrace on the Day of Qiyaamah. This disgrace will be forgotten and that disgrace is lasting. Break this relationship at once and assign your affair to Allah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
