Hadith regarding perfect Imaan
Question
I read that no one will enter jannah unless they have perfect imaan. So if a person has Imaan but it is not perfect will he attain jannah? Quote hadith or quraan ayaats if possible.
What is perfect imaan? If I commit a sin does it mean I do not have perfect imaan ?
Can you send me the hadith which says how one can attain perfect imaan through salaam?
Answer
In other words, the perfect way to enter Jannah is the perfection of Imaan. Without the perfection of Imaan one will have to go through trials and difficulties and insha-Allah ultimately he will get entry into Jannah.
Perfect Imaan refers to being always in the obedience of Allah Ta`ala and being mindful of Him all the time. If there is a slip or mistake then one resorts to taubah immediately with deep regret and remorse and resolves never to commit it again. Hence this is not against perfect Imaan.
Salaam is one of the elements that comes to complete Imaan. Hence, frequenting salaam will be one aspect in the perfection of Imaan.
