Question

In Riyad us Saliheen, hadith number 1651 it states that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) forbade a person wearing (tying up his shoe while standing. [Abu Dawud with a good Isnad]. My question is, can we still stand up and wear our shoes?

Answer

If there is no fear of you falling or hurting yourself it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
