Question

If a parent did not do aqeeqah for a child because of poverty, the father being non-Muslim, then should this child make his own aqeeqah when he can afford to?

Answer

It is permissible for him to do his aqeeqah later on during his life.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
