Durood Shareef

Question

Recently a radio station hosted a programe on sending durood sharief. If one only recites durood sharief, is it not giving preference over Allah's zikr.

Answer

Reciting Durood Shareef upon Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is also one form of Zikr.

And Allah Ta'ala knows best.
