Question

If hajj is fardh upon a person, is it permissible for him to perform hajj on behalf of another person before performing his own fardh hajj?

Answer

If hajj is compulsory upon a person, it will not be permissible for him to perform hajj on behalf of someone else. Hence, he should first perform his own hajj before he performs hajj on behalf of someone else.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
