Muqtadi repeating the takbeer behind the Imaam

Question

If a person performing Salaah behind an Imaan happens to repeat the Takbeer with the Imaam, is the Salaah valid?

Answer

Yes

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

فائدة خمس يتبع فيها الإمام قنوت وقعود أول وتكبير عيد وسجدة تلاوة وسهو وأربعة لا يتبع فيها زيادة تكبير عيد أو جنازة وركن وقيام لخامسة وثمانية تفعل مطلقا الرفع لتحريمة والثناء وتكبير انتقال وتسميع وتسبيح وتشهد وسلام وتكبير تشريق (الدر المختار 2/ 11-12)

قال الشامي : قوله ( وتكبير انتقال ) أي إلى ركوع أو سجود أو رفع منه (رد المحتار 2/ 12)
