Masturbating while fasting

Question

A person while fasting in Ramadhaan masturbates by rubbing himself on the bed. What is the status of the roza? Is he supposed to do qaza or kaffara?

Answer

He should repent to Allah Ta'ala for this sin he had committed and make a firm resolve that he will not repeat this sin in the future. His roza will break, however only qaza will be waajib.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
