Question

Is it permissible for a Muslim to sell clothing made from pig skin e.g. gloves, shoes, etc.? Will there be any difference in the ruling if these items are used as safety equipment/wear?

Answer

No.

Abstain from using these things that are made from pig skin.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
