Question

I read a response to the question on the punishment for a person committing suicide. However, my questions are:

What is the position if the person is insane and committed suicide?

What if the person has some other mental disorder like schizophrenia?

Answer

A person who is insane or mentally disturbed to the extent that he cannot reason correctly will not be answerable for the wrongs he may have done.
