Group of girls going for umrah without a mahram

· 22 Safar 1438 AH1 min readEnglish

Question

We are a group of girls (18-34). We would like to go on umrah soon and was wondering if it is permissible to go without a mahram even though we are +17 in the group and in niqaab. Some of us don't have a father nor brothers.

Answer

Don't ever think about this. The wrong in this is far greater than the reward that you anticipate.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
