Does one's nikaah break through committing zina?

Question

My question is about zina. There is my Muslim friend, his wife is having a sexual relation with another man since one year. Is their nikaah still valid or has it broken? What is the kaffara to get rid of this gunnah?

Answer

The nikaah remains.

Beg Allah Ta`ala's forgiveness.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
