Contraceptives

Question

We plan on going for Haj this year Insha Allah. Is it permissible for my wife to use contraceptives to avoid falling pregnant. We have been accredited.

Answer

This is not in keeping with the natural way, and it could lead to health complications. However, it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala knows best.
