Question

My question is regarding witr Salaah. In one Hadith the prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) forbade praying witr like maghrib but in the hanafi fiqh it is prayed like maghrib and I am a bit confused. Please clarify.

Answer

Masha-Allah, it seems like you have got a great understanding of hadeeth and you can separate the authentic from the unauthentic and the mansookh from the ghayr mansookh. So we will refer you to I`laaus Sunan where you can carry out your independent study in this respect.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
