Performing fajr Salaah before sunrise

Question

I am suffering from OCD (waswasa) and when I wake up for fajr prayer, I see the sky is light and I always think I am praying fajr in forbidden time. Is this the valid time for fajr? Please clarify.

Answer

If the salaah was performed before sunrise, then it was performed in its time.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
