Passing wind in the musjid

Question

Is it permissable to pass wind in the musjid if one is sleeping in the musjid e.g. in jamaat or i'tikaaf?

Answer

It is better that one leaves the musjid to pass wind. Through one leaving the musjid to pass wind the sunnat i'tikaaf in the month of Ramadhaan will not break.

And Allah Ta'ala knows best.
