Saying "O Lord"

Question

My husband when something happens like wrong or even good sometimes he says oh lord, is it permissible? He says it regularly. Sometimes he says oh paak Allah oh Allah. After he said oh lord. The other day I said oh lord too.

Answer

He should rather use the words "O Allah".

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
