Salaah of a person who shaves his beard
Question
My son shaves his face fully due to his job, so does his prayers get invalid.
Answer
Shaving the beard is a major sin. Though he will be absolved of the obligation of the Salaah, he will not receive the full reward and benefit of the Salaah he performs without a beard.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن ابن عمر قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم أحفوا الشوارب وأعفوا اللحى (جامع الترمذي، الرقم: 2763)
( لا ) يكره ... تطويل اللحية إذا كانت بقدر المسنون وهو القبضة ... وأما الأخذ منها وهي دون ذلك كما يفعله بعض المغاربة ومخنثة الرجال فلم يبحه أحد وأخذ كلها فعل يهود الهند ومجوس الأعاجم (الدر المختار 2/417-418)
وعن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال أمرنا بإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة ومن لم يزك فلا صلاة له رواه الطبراني في الكبير موقوفا هكذا بأسانيد أحدهما صحيح والأصبهاني (الترغيب والترهيب، الرقم: 1135)
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال أمرنا بإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة ومن لم يزك فلا صلاة له رواه الطبراني في الكبير وله إسناد صحيح (مجمع الزوائد، الرقم: 4329)
