Forgetting the Quraan Majeed after memorizing it

Question

My problem is I forgot the Holy Quran which I learned by heart. What can I do for that? I'm very afraid and can't learn again because I'm afraid that I will again forget and Allah will punish me.

Answer

Sincerely repent to Allah Ta'ala and begin learning what you have forgotten.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
