Breaking an impermissible oath
Question
One of my friends made a promise herself that 'wallahi I 'll never ask dua for my sister". Now she feels it's wrong. She likes to break her promise now. Can she break it? Is there any kaffara?
Answer
Yes this oath is not permissible. She should break this oath and give the kafaarah for breaking the oath.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
