Blowing on oneself after reciting the three Quls
Question
When reading the three Quls (Surah Al Ikhlaas, Surah An Naas and Surah Al Falaq) for protection from Nazr, what is the ruling on reading and then blowing on oneself, or blowing into the hands and passing the hands over the whole body? Is this allowed/necessary?
Answer
It is not necessary, but it is established in the sunnah. It is mentioned in the Hadith that before retiring to bed, Rasoolulallah salalahu alaihi wasalam would recite the three quls, blow onto his mubaarak hands and thereafter rub them onto his mubaarak body.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Is ruqyah (reciting for healing) permissible?
“One should avoid blowing on food and drinks. It is against the etiquette of eating and drinking to do. It would be better and closer to proper manners, to wait for one’s food or drink to cool down before eating/drinking.”
