Dua while carrying the janazah
Question
Is there any specific dua while carrying the janazah. Many times, we find people reading the shahadatain. Is it correct?
Answer
There is no Sunnat Dua that is reported in the Hadith at the time when carrying the Janaazah. Instead people should remain silent at this time. To make zikr in a loud tone or reciting Quraan loudly while carrying the Janaazah is makrooh.
