Machine slaughtered chicken

Question

Kindly give guidance on whether machine slaughtered chicken can be halaal?

Answer

If the one slaughtering is a Muslim and he recites tasmiyah on each chicken separately (the machine slaughters each chicken separately), it will be Halaal.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّـهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا اضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَائِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُعْتَدِينَ ﴿١١٩﴾
